Unicorns are associated with magical qualities. They are a symbol of strength, freedom, power and speed and they appear on many coats of arms and emblems. Unicorn tears and blood are said to be healing. The horn too, was said to have the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness.

This particular Unicorn was one of four only, that formed part of my Studio altar during the recording of my new album ‘Song of the Sidhe’ They therefore carry the sacred sound frequencies and imprint of the Sidhe.

Description

Just before going into the studio to begin recording my new album ‘Song of the Sidhe’, I was offered the opportunity to purchase a small selection of exquisite Crystal Unicorns. It seemed so timely, as the focus of the new music was the Irish Faerie Kingdom, the Sidhe, who are often portrayed riding on Unicorns! Unicorns are associated with magical qualities. They are a symbol of purity, grace, strength, freedom, power and speed.

When the shipment arrived and I unpacked these beauties, my heart literally filled with delight! A wave of Sidhe energy swirled around me and encased me! The three Unicorns pictured above were part of my Studio altar during a subsequent phase of recording. They therefore carry the sacred sound frequencies of the Sidhe.

Unicorn means ‘one horn’. The unicorn is a legendary creature that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a single large, pointed, spiralling horn projecting from its forehead. Unicorns have appeared in the mythologies of many eastern and western civilizations throughout history.

Unicorns are difficult to catch and as a symbol of purity and grace in many mythologies, it is said that they can only be tamed by young maidens. Many people however have claimed to have seen, and even video recorded unicorns. There are also nine references to unicorns in the King James Version of the bible translated in 1611 eg:- Numbers 23:22    “God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.”
